Community member and retired Lombard Battalion Chief, Chuck Ralis, told us that he is powered up by being financially smart.
Chuck has lived in Lombard since the 1970’s and was a member of the Lombard Fire Department for 28 years. Now, he is happily retired, and able to spend his time learning to play guitar, enjoying quality time with his family, and relaxing with his friends on periodic fishing trips.
Chuck began his relationship with West Suburban Bank when he realized his home was in need of some major repairs. He chose West Suburban Bank because it was a neighborhood bank that he felt comfortable with. Coming through in a clutch, West Suburban issued Chuck a home equity loan and he was able to make the necessary fixes, which in turn, tripled the value of his home!
Working with West Suburban Bank to get the loan and guide Chuck to make smart financial decisions, has put him in a better position as a retiree.
At West Suburban Bank, we are happy to power community members like Chuck. We wish him relaxation and and enjoyment in his retirement. Let us know what you think about Chuck’s story and continue to tell us, “What Powers You Up?” on Facebook and Twitter. #WSBPower
Community member and Quik Impressions president, Rick Smolke, told us that he is powered up by being the best business man he can be.
Quik Impressions is a commercial printer located in Addison, IL. The continually growing company found themselves in need of a bank that they could count on, and one that could take them to a completely different level. Rick Smolke, and his company, found a home with West Suburban Bank. Rick notes that West Suburban Bank truly believes in its customer, and if it weren’t for them, Quik Impressions would not be here today. With the power and support of a bank that allow its customers to dream, Rick Smolke believe that he and his company can accomplish anything with West Suburban Bank in their corner.
West Suburban Bank not only handles Rick’s business account, but the bank handles all of his personal accounts, children’s accounts, and retirement accounts as well. As Rick says, “he 100% trusts them [West Suburban Bank] with everything he has.”
At West Suburban Bank, we are happy to power businesses like Quik Impressions and community members like Rick. We look forward to watching Quick Impressions grow and helping them along the way! Let us know what you think about Rick’s story and continue to tell us, “What Powers You Up?” on Facebook and Twitter. #WSBPower
Villa Park community members, Sofia, Billy, and Gabriel told us what powered them up is being the best family they can be.
Billy’s parents opened a joint account for him when he was about 5 years old. At an early age, his parents taught him the importance of saving. With Sofia also being a big saver, the couple decided to carry on the family tradition and open their son, Gabriel, a savings account when he was just a couple months old. Sofia told us, “I’m a big saver and I want to instill that in him.”
Family is important to the Eisners, and they find West Suburban a bank that is very family oriented. With the convenience of being centrally located between a few different branches, the Eisners are able to spend less time driving long distances to their bank and are able to spend more time with each other.
At West Suburban Bank, we are happy to help power the Eisners. We look forward to seeing Gabriel grow! Let us know what you think about their story and continue to tell us, “What Powers You Up?” on Facebook and Twitter. Also, be sure to follow us on Instagram, we will have some exciting photo challenges later this year!
