Patience Tannenbaum started as a teller at West Suburban Bank 15 years ago. Today, she’s Branch Manager of the Bartlett and South Elgin Branch locations. Add to that a banking unit she also manages in the Clare Oaks Retirement Center. Since every branch she’s worked in has become home to her, Patience has a lot of homes after working in several branches on her way up the ladder.
Something that never changes is her desire to dive right into the community she’s serving. If you’ve been to events like St. Charles Riverfest, Rolling Down the River in St. Charles and Bartlett, National Night Out or Bartlett’s Fall Festival, chances are you’ve met Patience. She knows that a community that celebrates together is a place where people like to do business with people they know and trust.
There’s a gentleman at Clare Oaks Retirement Community who asks Patience twice a week, every week, if she’s run across any Confederate Bills. She’s been saying “not so far” every week for a few years now. But her eyes are wide open for those Confederate Bills and her smile is bright and contagious when she shares the news. You’ll see Patience tossing Frisbees,T-Shirts and candy from a golf cart at community events, scooping popcorn at festivals or walking the walk for Team West Suburban for Breast Cancer Research. When she’s not doing all of these things, she’s a great full time branch manager for two locations and a satellite unit. She’s a great reason why we’re unlike any other bank.
