West Suburban Bank – The Best Investment
The best investment to guarantee future results is the education of our youth.
Jack Buscemi is a popular guy in the community. So popular that he’s been elected and re-elected twice on the Benjamin School District in Carol Stream. His kids are grown now; his daughter is a school teacher and his son is a representative for a pharmaceutical company. He credits a great school district for preparing them well. While they’ve grown up, Jack still serves the school district to make sure his community continues to provide the same opportunities to current students that his family enjoyed. He’s also the District Representative for SASED, a co-op serving 18 school districts to enhance the educational opportunities for Special Ed students. All of the districts together pool resources and students to provide the best learning environments for students with special needs and their teachers.
Jack has served the bank both as Loss Prevention Manager and Manager of Retail Banking over his tenure. While managing Retail Banking, he brought in representatives from Junior Achievement to work with many of the bank’s managers to become instructors of the business model that Junior Achievement taught in local elementary and middle schools. Many bank managers volunteered to be involved and the bank provided the time necessary for them to prepare their lesson plans and teach the courses over a 12 week period. Jack believes in Community “sweat equity”. Being involved is very important to creating a legacy of community involvement. His financial background has helped the School District invest monies in safe guaranteed return financial instruments to make their money go even further with their curriculum. Look for Jack around town helping out and enjoying himself taking pride in his public service and professional service. He’ll tell you; we are unlike any other bank.
